These are fabulous pens, well made and beautiful. Through our years of collecting we've obtained quite a few Parkers. Ann uses a Parker 51 daily and still remembers owning one in her teens. She still has her father's Parker 51. Also in our collection is the Parker 51 demi that belonged to Kitty Oppenheimer, wife of the famous physicist, J. Robert Oppenheimer, or "Oppy" as he was known to freiends.
Recent Parker additions to our collection include the senior and lady mandarins shown above as well as the mint lapis senior shown below. You just can't go wrong with Parker pens for beauty and great writing.
Here's the mint lapis Parker duofold we recently purchased on the eBay internet auction:
We are fortunate to have several very early Parker pens. They are "lucky curve" pens, with the section curving into the body of the pen.
This red hard mottled pen is from the early 1900s. A friend of Arvin's found it in an antique store and bought it for us. It came with the original box and paper. We love the inscription in the box.
This beauty we found in an antique store near Ashland, Oregon. It also is in its original box with paper.
